Finding needles in a haystack

Another feature of PhyloWidget which helps when dealing with medium- to large-sized trees is node searching. Try out some of the following searches: There are just a few things to note about the search feature:
  1. Searches are case-insensitive
  2. Searches may be combined additively using the ";" character
  3. Found nodes are highlighted and given occlusion priority
That's all there is to it. There are much more sophisticated methods of searching through trees available (see, for example, PhyloFinder), but PhyloWidget's search facility is a simple aid in the process of identifying points of interest within a relatively large tree.
